CBD Tinctures are an amazing way to deliver an active into your system via liquid . The liquids you can add our tinctures to is endless. Some customers put our tincture in their morning coffee or smoothie, some like to put it in their protein shakes, others may use it to relax at night with a cup of tea. You can also take the tincture by itself. Place a drop of the tincture under your tongue, let it sit for a few seconds, and swallow. We’ve perfected the flavors of our tinctures as well so they taste extra yummy. Some of our competitors tinctures have no taste or a not so great taste. While we do have a neutral flavored tincture, most of our tinctures contain yummy flavors such as Mixed Berry, Lemon Tangerine (Turning into Pineapple shortly!), Honeydew, and more.
How to Make a CBD Tincture
The base of our tinctures include water and MCT oil to start the recipe. We then add our actives and mix the tincture together. Our tinctures are vegan friendly and portioned with CBD to help assist people with calming and other desired effects. We also include other actives to compliment the CBD in our tinctures. The active ingredients depending on formulation include:
- Energy – L-Theanine, B-12 and CBG. L-Theanine is know to help people energize and increase brain activity and B-12 is known to promote cell growth. More on CBG below.
- Relax – Melatonin and CBN. Melatonin is a natural chemical found in the human body that helps with rest. CBG is a cannabinoid that has shown to promote rest.
- Focus – CBG and 5-HTP. CBG is a cannabinoid that has been shown to increase mindful activities. 5-HTP is a naturally occurring chemical that promotes serotonin.
- Wellness – CBD to help with everyday wellness and promote a balanced lifestyle.
- Max Effect – THC to give users an “elevated” feeling.

Convenience
Due to the 2018 Farm Bill, our hemp derived CBD and THC tinctures are legal in most states in the U.S. There are a few states that have made rules against the 2018 Farm Bill such as, Idaho, Mississippi, New Hampshire and South Dakota :(. We do hope those states acknowledge the wonders of hemp, until then, you should following local laws even if they are outdated and beyond idiotic. Don’t worry, if you can’t consume THC or CBD in that state, you can go destroy your liver at your local bar! If you live in freer states than those, you are more than welcome to consume our tinctures out and about.
The best part of tinctures is that they come in a small and discreet bottle perfect for travel. It has a built in pump so you can easily portion your intake. Five pumps = one serving when it comes to our tinctures. You actually can even take our tinctures on an airplane as our containers are portioned to 1oz. This is perfect because if you’re traveling you can take your tincture with you. If you need a portion of CBD at the airport, you can mix it in a drink or take by itself. If you find yourself at the beach, or on a hike, you can take our on-the-go sized with you to portion out you CBD there too!
Flavor
Our competitors tinctures sometimes don’t taste great. That’s what makes us different. Because tinctures contain actives, they can sometimes taste bitter and unpleasant. We’ve included natural flavors in our tinctures to make the liquid and active more palatable. We’re always experimenting with flavors and we are in the process of changing our Focus formulation. It currently has a Lemon – Tangerine flavor but that will morph over to a Pineapple flavor shortly. We also have Mixed Berry for our Relax tinctures, Cherry Peach for our Energy Tinctures, and a neutral flavor for our Wellness Tinctures. We’re always looking for product testers on our formulations. If you’re interested fill out this form and we’ll be in contact shortly. Also, Check out our Limited Edition page to see which new flavors we’re working with and feel free to offer any feedback.
Ingesting
Tinctures are one of the quickest ways to get actives into your system. The quickest way would be to take the tincture by itself, let sit under your tongue for a few seconds, then ingest. This delivers the tincture right into your body. Because tinctures are liquid, this gets into your system quicker than say a gummy. This also can be changed if you take the tincture with moire liquid. While we recommend adding the tincture to a drink or other liquid, this can slow down the ingestion process, but not by much. We also have portioned our tinctures to perfection so you can enjoy your active without any guesswork. 5 pumps in our tinctures will get you one serving. Our tinctures come in Regular and Extra Strength as well as Pure isolate and Full Spectrum options.
Conclusion
Overall, everyone has their own preferred way to ingest CBD or other actives. Tinctures are a great way to get CBD into your system while enjoying flavor and being able to add to other consumable methods like drinks. Tinctures are by and far one of our most popular products and our customers absolutely love them. Want to suggest a new flavor of tincture?
