Full Spectrum Vs. Pure Isolate
What do those terms mean?
Learning about CBD can be confusing and stressful. That’s why we are here to help. We hold precision to a high standard here at Infinite CBD. That’s what makes us stand out from our competitors.
TL;DR:
Full Spectrum contains the full plant and will give you psychoactive effects. Pure Isolate contains only CBD, or other Pure Isolate cannabinoids (with the exception of THC) and offers no psychoactive effects.
Want to learn more about the two? Then let’s get into it. What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Pure Isolate? To compare the two options, we must first learn about cannabinoids.
Cannabinoids
According to the
internet, cannabinoids are, “compounds found in the cannabis plant or synthetic compounds that can interact with the endocannabinoid system. The most notable cannabinoid is the phytocannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary intoxicating compound in hemp.”
There are over
100 known cannabinoids within the hemp plant which include CBD and THC. All of our products contain CBD, however not all of them contain THC (or other cannabinoids.)
CBD and THC
There are many alleged benefits to cannabinoids including helping with inflammation, helping those who feel anxious, and helping those who need an extra push to relax.
The primary difference between the two most abundant cannabinoids is that CBD does not cause psychoactive effects while THC does. There are many other cannabinoids that are extracted from the hemp plant as well, including CBG and CBN which we use in our products.
CBG and CBN
These cannabinoids can have different effects on your system. CBG allegedly increases focus and concentration when it interacts with certain brain receptors. CBN can reportedly help with making a person feel relaxed and at ease.
Now that we have learned the backstory of cannabinoids we can now learn the difference between Full Spectrum and Pure Isolate.
Full Spectrum
– These products contain all of the cannabinoids found in the hemp plant including THC, as well as trace amounts of other cannabinoids.
Some users prefer Full Spectrum because it provides a more full plant experience including a “high”. In 2018, a clinical trial that Infinite CBD participated in found that more users preferred the experience of Full Spectrum over Pure Isolate.
Pure Isolate
– This is when the CBD compound (or other cannabinoids besides THC) is isolated in its most pure form.
THC isn’t for everyone, some customers are concerned about passing drug tests or just do not want to partake in ingesting THC, and that makes total sense! It is definitely one of the benefits of taking our Pure Isolate products over Full Spectrum.
What makes us unique?
All of our products contain precise amounts of THC, CBD, CBG, and CBN isolates.
This is what makes us different from other CBD companies. We take the guesswork out of the equation so you know exactly what is in our products and what serving to take. The most common way that companies create their products is by using any cannabinoid that the plant naturally produces. This makes their batches inconsistent, which we do not want for our customers.
Which one is right for you?
Well, that totally depends on you! Some customers enjoy the psychoactive high that THC gives them, while others just want the benefits of CBD without feeling any different.
If you are new to cannabinoids, we recommend our
Regular Strength products (1mg thc) and working up to Extra Strength products if you feel you need a little more enhancement.
For the experienced user, we have our Wellness Full Spectrum Regular Plus (5mg CBD / 5mg THC)
gummies that will help you get the party started! Okay, maybe not a party, but you will most likely get that added feeling of euphoria while taking these products.
If you’re looking to incorporate the benefits of CBD into your everyday life without any psychoactive effects, then Pure Isolate is perfect for you. If you’re not sure which product fits your lifestyle, then take our simple
