CBD News—CVS Pharmacy Selling CBD Products
Recently, CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens revealed that they will sell certain CBD-based products in select stores. What kind of products will these businesses carry though? CVS Pharmacy in particular has started selling hemp-derived topical products including infused sprays, creams, and roll-ons. These products are sold in over 100 hundred stores across eight U.S. states. The eight states include California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Also, not long ago, CVS Pharmacy partnered up with Eurofins. Eurofins is a third-party laboratory that will test all products before they are placed on store shelves. After CVS Pharmacy made their announcement about selling select CBD products in March, Walgreens followed closely behind.
Walgreens’s Involvement in the CBD Industry
What other CBD news is happening? Well, Walgreens—a widely-known chain drugstore decided to dip into the CBD industry. This company understands how much CBD products are in demand. Therefore, they are taking steps to compete against other drugstores by selling various infused CBD products.
Furthermore, Walgreens will soon offer CBD-infused sprays, patches, and creams. These products will be sold in 1,500 stores across nine U.S. states. Thus far, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy made it clear that they will not sell CBD dietary supplements or CBD infused foods yet. One of Walgreens’s main intentions is to see which products consumers are interested in. From there, Walgreens will make necessary adjustments to accommodate the wants and needs of their customers.
Rite Aid Will Soon Sell CBD Products Too
